Content
  • Is the audience clear?
  • Is the content well-organized?
  • Is the information unbiased and neutral?
  • Is controversial data cited?
  • Are conclusions consistent with the facts?
  • Are any links provided reputable?
  • Has the information been peer reviewed?
Author(s)
  • Are (is) the author(s) identified?
  • Do the authors have appropriate credential or educational background for the content?
  • Are conflicts of interest stated?
  • Is the purpose of the site educational and defined?
References/Documentation
  • Are references for each section cited?
  • Are references complete?
  • Are references from reputable sources?
  • Are references from human work?
Design/Site organization
  • Is the site easy to navigate and find information?
  • Does the site have a map, index, search or help screen (s)
  • Are there any disclaimers regarding the information?
  • Does the site note that it is not intended to provide medical advice or replace a professional?
Date of publication
  • Is the information current?
  • Is the information updated and when was it last updated?
