The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy Outstanding Professor of the Year Award as Chosen by the BSPS UNDERGRADUATE Class of 2008 The Outstanding Professor of the Year Award is intended to afford students the opportunity to recognize faculty for excellence in teaching. In making your choice, please consider a teacher you have had during the past four years whom you would like to honor as a model for others. Some suggested criteria to consider include: Enthusiasm for the subject matter Deepening student’s interest in the subject matter Assisting students to gain a good understanding of important concepts and principles. Use of innovative and effective teaching methodology Sustained efforts to improve student learning Two such awards will be given each year, one by the graduating P4 PharmD graduate class and one by the graduating BSPS undergraduate classes. To promote diversity, no faculty member may receive both awards in the same year and any faculty member who receives an award will be ineligible for that same award for the following two years. (Ineligible faculty members are Drs. S. Peseckis [2006] and C.
