Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
Beginning with this year, the College of Pharmacy will hold a separate commencement ceremony including distribution of diploma covers, hooding of graduate students, and conferring of degrees by President Lloyd Jacobs. The College of Pharmacy will not participate in the University ceremony on May 2nd. The College of Pharmacy Commencement activities for 2008 will be as follows:

You will receive a booklet from the Office of Student Records that will answer some of your questions concerning graduation. The Student Union Bookstore will have academic regalia in stock. Please pick it up at your convenience. Remember that the Pharmacy tassel color is olive green for undergraduates and gold for doctoral candidates. Hood (if appropriate) is olive green and doctoral gown is black velvet stripe. Any questions regarding academic garb can be referred to the Student Union Bookstore (419-530-2516 or email).
We will have Chappell Studios, the photographer UT uses at graduation, to take your official graduation photo as you are hooded and/or receive your diploma.
For planning purposes, it is important for us to get a sense of the candidate and guest attendance. There is no limit on the number of guests who can attend. Effective Monday, March 17th, please complete the RSVP at www.utpharmacy.org. All RSVP’s should be entered by Friday, April 18th. This site will be operational by Monday, March 17th. If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please fill out the form so we know where to send any gifts or awards. Be sure to check our graduation website (www.utpharmacy.org) for any further updates.
